This looks super fun! Been wanting to try Mace, and I think the Guardian of the Whills is a great pairing. Is BB-8 that good to run as a 2x? |

Thanks both, yeah i would have loved to have seen how this did in the top cut. Managing resources was the biggest issue when piloting this and i really struggled to identify consistent money making cards when building, probably should have brought Merchant along. I should have bought a 2nd Contentious mos def as i realise there are ways around United for the opponent. I'd seen BB-8 played producing great value for money on other games but to be honest I dont think i played it in any of my games, probably not a good fit for this deck. Do or Do Not is just for kicks as it is pure destiny :D however it was good to get something extra out of Whills dice as they are very lackluster and the damage sides often got soaked up by shields. Pushing Slash had its moments however was sometimes counter intuitive with Mace's PA, it was more about forcing the opponent into a sticky start of a round although it didn't always work out that way. Some questioned Niman over Ataru but pumping Mace's dice with Draw Closer then hitting them again next turn same die, hopefully with Mace's PA, was brutal. Even the 2 melee side became powerful as a result. Won me a few games that way. Will give the deck some optimisation and see if i can improve upon. Oh btw, Move Along I've discovered is crazy good with all the non-unique characters knocking around this meta ;) night night trandos haha |
Love the idea behind this deck, real shame you had to drop or we would’ve played in Top 4! Why Do or Do Not? Did Pushing Slash provide much value? And where is your 2nd Contentious!
