`@Darliane I'm guessing K-3POis there to proc the Reactor Shaft - Death Star II and possibly get another resolution from a Support die.

K-3po can also cycle with Separatist Supply Ship if you need something to do with the ships but need to save resources for something else, like events. It's very flexible and can get you a substantial value.
